North Auburn Renovation

This was a great project which started in April 2021 completing January 2023 with the last piece of furniture being delivered.  Long delays due to COVID caused major delays for materials, plumbing, lighting, and especially furniture.  The clients were so patient and fortunately had a Casita on the side of the main house where they lived for several months when demo and works were being completed.

The Entry with the Moravian Star light fixture in antique brass sets the stage for what the viewer is about to see and along with the Grand Room and Dining Room had newly engineered wood floors installed.  A beautiful chandelier, new dining table and chairs, rug and custom-made hutch detailed with oriental style pulls in solid brass features Italian Verdi Marble as the backsplash creates a beautiful backdrop and focal point in this serene dining space.

The Grand Room fireplace received a total makeover with new stone rendering and a custom-made mantel and new granite hearth.  The custom TV unit was designed and stained to complement the new floor and to accommodate a new 80" flat screen.  In addition, a new leather sofa and two matching recliner chairs offer the clients an extremely comfortable chair for watching and for just reading.  Two matching swivel chairs in a velvet fabric add a contrast and all the transitional furniture coordinates with the beautiful rug that pulls all the colors  everything together. Reproduction oriental style furniture complimented the Drexel Dynasty pieces of furniture that the clients wanted to retain and incorporate them into the furniture being used.  The oriental style brass pulls on the Drexel Dynasty furniture was used on the large TV unit and the dining room hutch as aforementioned.
 
The kitchen cabinets were repainted, including the ceiling, in three different sage green colors that complement each other.  The Quartzite backsplash offers incredible depth to the room.  Existing countertops and tile floor were left in place and worked well with the new green colors.  Antique brass hardware "pop" against the green cabinets.

It also included the renovation of the Master Bathroom including new tiling (main bathroom, shower, and dressing room), vanity with deco style polished nickel pulls and plumbing, lighting, A beautiful metallic vinyl wallpaper went over the vanity adding light reflection and brightness to the space.  All colors used flow from the Master Bedroom into the Master Bathroom.

The Master Bedroom received new wall-to-wall carpet, and a new bed.  The diamond patterned tufted bedhead and frame brought a bit of elegance to the peaceful space.

Master Bathroom Renovation

A beautiful transformation from an old bathroom to a fresh, bright new bathroom. 
The granite countertop adds sophistication to the space coordinating with the grays on the floor and shower tiles.  The mirrors are an anti-steaming feature along with adjustable brightness and color temperature.  The shower provides a full shower with jets and a handheld attachment.  Additionally, there is a bucket filler outlet at the base.  A seamless shower style keeps the space more open.  
We added a door to the outside of the house where a new hot tub had been installed.  Doing this allowed access from the hot tub directly to the bathroom, saving walking around to the front of the house to get to the bathroom.

Roseville Apartment

The client wanted new color in the living/dining room, new lighting, and additional accessories.  This project was what we call a "Refreshing".  We replaced the gray with a warm yellow (PPG Pittsburgh Paint), adjusted the mirror, added torchieres on either side of the sofa, some furniture and art rearrangement, an artificial olive tree in the living room.
A guest bedroom was given a makeover with new nightstands, lamps, art over the bed, a beautiful beach-themed print for over the bed setting the relaxed theme of the room.  Other items she had were swapped over to save additional expenses.
The bathroom got a new shower curtain, new bath mats, and incorporating decor items she already had in storage again to save on expenses.

our client called saying they'd found black mold in this bathroom and was getting it treated ready for renovation work.  We used metallic finishes and dramatic lighting for this total makeover.

Our clients loved antique furniture and had several pieces in use and others in storage awaiting someone to help them select suitable fabrics for them when redoing their formal living room space. Before we started, the room was totally white....with an off white carpet. We added all the crown molding, plaster trims and frames on all the walls and ceiling including color choices. Specific sizes for the wall panels were done to work in with their original art to frame the paintings. A grid pattern was installed using plaster on the ceiling to carry the theme right through. Additionally we picked the fabric for the furniture pieces which our clients had already. We worked closely with the upholsterer to insure the pattern was used to it's best. The worked closely with the curtain maker, too, to achieve the look that we wanted for this room We also designed the pattern that was done in marble in two colors.

North Auburn Guest Bedroom

This was a guest bedroom that needed a total redo in colors and finishes.  We put new wallpaper on the walls, repainted the ceiling and added highlights to the crown molding to make it stand out.  The addition of a couple of artificial trees and a new bed ensemble to top it off resulting in a beautiful yellow themed "happy" place for guests.

Grass Valley Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel

Queensland Teachers Union Health, Australia

This job was a total retrofit of these offices including the main lobby.  We picked new colors, carpet and lighting to give the space a whole new look.  The Queensland Teachers' Union is an Australian trade union with a membership of more than 44,000 teachers and principals in the Queensland Government's primary schools, secondary schools, special schools, senior colleges, TAFE colleges and other educational facilities. More than 96 per cent of eligible teachers are members. As well as protecting the rights and conditions of its members, the QTU also sees the promotion of public education as a major part of its role.
